The Motorsport Market project saw the development of a very powerful directory system. Utlising the Sigsiu Joomla! component the project had many features :-

Full content management

The full content management system (CMS) Joomla! was deployed for the project, ensuring that future expandibility is guaranteed. A template was deployed inkeeping with the company brand, the site was secured on an Atomic Linux secure server and robustly tested.

Powerful Sigsiu directory component

The Sigsiu directory solution was integrated into the Joomla! site. This allows extensive customisation and modification of your normal directory site. Integration with Google Maps allowing instant pin pointing and directions of all listings was coded. Individual fields can be selected and applied as free or payable and a full auditing trail through the site for listings is now possible.

Dynamic search engine friendly urls and titles

The OpenSEF component for Joomla! was installed, along with the extra plugin for OpenSEF for Sigsiu, ensuring that every page within the site benefits from search engine friendly Urls, dynamically built and with dynamic titles. The core pages of the site had specific friendly urls assigned to them.

Further to this, an automated XML Google Sitemap components was designed and enabled to ensure the site is fully indexed by Google as it grows.

Payment gateways

The site has provision for mutliple payment gateways assigned on a per ad, renewal, or even per field basis.
